Cambridge House is a Visit Britain 4 star rated Guest House situated in the centre of Windermere the heart of the English Lake District, a small, friendly, family owned guest house built in the traditional Lakeland style. We take pride in our warm, friendly atmosphere & home-cooked breakfasts, whether a Full English or Vegetarian breakfast or something from our lighter alternatives, our aim is to give our guests that 'home from home' feel. All rooms are en suite, feature flat screen satellite TV, DVD/CD player & complementary use of CD/DVD library. Enjoying a village centre location offers ideal accommodation for your Lake District holiday, only a minutes walk from the numerous unique shops, restaurants and pubs of Windermere, a mere 5 minute walk from the railway and coach station and a pleasant 15/20 minute walk to beautiful Lake Windermere, where you can take one of the many lake cruises.

The Craig Manor Hotel nestles on the brow of a hill overlooking Lake Windermere, Langdale Pikes and surrounding mountains in the English Lake District. Just a short stroll from the front door is the village of Bowness with its pubs, shops, cafes and museum. Guests can walk to the lake shore and maybe take a cruise to nearby Ambleside. After a day exploring the beautiful Lake District guests can relax and enjoy a fabulous four course meal in our restaurant followed by drinks in our lounge areas. Our restaurant, lounges and some bedrooms enjoy superb views of the surrounding area including Lake Windermere and Langdale Pikes. Guests have complimentary use of Parklands Health Club where they may unwind in the pool,sauna or jacuzzi. There is also a gym for the more energetic guest. Parklands Health Club can be reached in just a few minutes by car and fifteen minutes by foot. This family run hotel offers a warm welcome to all of its guests.

Located in the pretty village of Troutbeck and enjoying magnificent views High Fold Guest House is less than 3 miles from Windermere and the lakeshore. All our rooms are en-suite and have good views of the local fells. Guests not wishing to drive to enjoy evening and lunchtime meals will find good food, fine wines and ales at two excellent Inn/restaurants, both within walking distance of High Fold Guest House. High Fold Guest House is a VisitBritain four star guest house. We regret we cannot offer accommodation to children under 10. Please note: High Fold Guest House is completley no smoking and guests' pets are not allowed in the Guest House.

Rockside is a quality 4* Guest House, located less than 2 minutes walk from the rail and bus station, which is owner managed by Martin & Caroline Rockside was built in 1847 using traditional lakeland stone,it is a querky property which is full of character and charm. The en suite rooms are modern and have been individually styled to provide all your modern day comforts, along with retaining many of Rockside original Victorian features. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Rockside we give it the justice it deserves, we have a range of options to cater for all tastes, from a more substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and Vegetarian alternatives. All made with quality produce and served with our delicious homemade jams and award winning marmalade. Home baking is an important part of Rockside with regular homebaked biscuits to welcome you. Along with homemade yoghurt, fruit compote and a speciality bread awaiting you each day on the breakfast buffet we certainly like to offer something a little bit different. Relax and unwind in our comfortable victorian Guest House nestling in the small charming town of Keswick, surrounded by breathtaking hills and outstanding scenery. Theresa is coeliac and has her own part of the kitchen that is strictly Gluten Free only. Leonard's Field is the ideal place to 'chill out' in peace and quiet (we are located on a quieter street), yet still within easy reach of the many walks and attractions of Keswick and the surrounding area. We are 2 minutes level walking from the centre of Keswick and approx 10 minutes from Lake Derwentwater and the legendary Theatre by the Lake. We have lock-up facilities for bikes and a secure off road area for motorbikes.
