Hillsdale is a family run B and B situated in a quiet location in the heart of Ambleside.
All rooms are en-suite with shower and our bedrooms are clean and stylish.We offer a warm and friendly stay.
We serve a hearty English or vegetarian breakfast.We also have grapefruit segments, prunes, raisins, cranberries, yoghurt, fruit juice and cereals.
Restaurants, shops and pubs are a minute’s walk away. All rooms have flat screen LCD TV's.
For that special break, we have a large bay fronted room with king size bed.
We have parking available (please ask) and we offer complimentary wi-fi.

Situated in the heart of Ambleside, Norwood House is a family run guest house, surrounded by dramatic scenery and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Windermere. The guest rooms are en-suite and have been newly refurbished - 32"Sony LCD T.V's (19" in single), radio alarm clocks, hot drinks trays and hair dryers come as standard. Also, we have a superior bay-windowed room with luxurious king-sized bed available to add a little extra something to the occasion! Full English and vegetarian breakfasts, using only top quality local produce, are served in our comfortable dining room to set you up for a day's activities -sightseeing, walking or cycling. Rockside was built in 1847 using traditional lakeland stone,it is a querky property which is full of character and charm. The en suite rooms are modern and have been individually styled to provide all your modern day comforts, along with retaining many of Rockside original Victorian features.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Rockside we give it the justice it deserves, we have a range of options to cater for all tastes, from a more substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and Vegetarian alternatives. All made with quality produce and served with our delicious homemade jams and award winning marmalade.
Home baking is an important part of Rockside with regular homebaked biscuits to welcome you. Along with homemade yoghurt, fruit compote and a speciality bread awaiting you each day on the breakfast buffet we certainly like to offer something a little bit different.

June and Ross Nicolson invite you to stay at Newstead - a delightful and friendly guest house located between the villages of Windermere and Bowness in the heart of the Lake District – one of Englands most beautiful tourist destinations.
Built in 1897 of traditional Lakeland stone, Newstead Guest House is a very fine example of a detached Victorian villa. The guest house retains many original features including Victorian rose terrace, splendid hall and staircase, marble fireplaces, mahogany woodwork, and even its serving bells.
The guest house has been stylishly refurbished to a very high standard with the extensive use of designs from the Arts and Crafts, Art Noveau and Gothic movements recalling the splendour of Victorian times. There are 9 colourful, interior designed, en-suite guest bedrooms comprising double, twin, family, and larger deluxe mahogany 4 posters including super-king size 4 poster beds.

Broadview is a quality, friendly, AA 4*, non-smoking guest house in the heart of the Lake District, Ambleside.
